Saki Kayenlora
I don't know where I'm headed, and nothing can stop me!
Saki Kayenlora (see table for enveneration dates) is a Human (Dhekene) warrior from the former world of Laclathan. After the Itayohkon Curation of Laclathan, the Itayohkon translated her and a few hand-picked survivors into their Simspace, literally recreating Saki as software for study and experimentation. Six years later, an Arcaelit expeditionary force from Oamadh forced the Itayohkon to "release" her and the others. Alexandrina Vijod, a strange entity accompanying the Arcaelits, performed the translation from Simspace back into Realspace with her own mind. Saki's feelings of guilt drove her away from the other Laclathani, and having no where else to go she's declared her intention to join the Imperial Army when the expedition returns to Oamadh.
Description
Young adult Human with long, straight, black hair and light gray eyes. Saki 3 wears an eyepatch over her right eye; her preferred patches are a set that were handcrafted for her by Tamke Veriian. Saki 1&2 wore her hair in twin ponytails.

Saki 1
Saki was womb-born on the hermit world of Laclathan in AA 816,532. At the age of five, the government of Laclathan identified her as biophysically compatible with the Mark 90 Combat Exo, the government's undercover project to develop a deterrent against the encroaching TTMA. Saki was taken from her parents, mentally conditioned to forget her family, and inducted into a program where she trained to operate the Mark 90 through its primitive Hyladrome-like interface, which was reportedly very painful and psychologically threatening. Program managers gave her the second name Kayenlora, but her full birth name is unknown.
The secrecy of the Mark 90 program stemmed from its nature as long-forgotten Arcaelit technology from the era in which the Laclathani fled TTMA's expansion to the 23 Maia Galaxy. Since Laclathan's government relied on its claim of total, dynamic, planetary control for legitimacy, the truth of Technological Animism was considered very dangerous to the planet's ruling class. Only a select few people, including Mark 90 pilots, needed to know the Mark 90 was not what it appeared. This meant the pilots themselves had to be heavily indoctrinated and kept away from the public.
When Saki was fifteen, the Itayohkon descended on Laclathan. Saki and her Mark 90 participated in several battles during the Itayohkon Curation of Laclathan, but ultimately the Laclathani were defeated and Saki was given the option to either die or be transubstrated into a Simspace environment of the Itayohkon's creation. She and her fellow Mark 90 pilot Tamke Veriian chose to live on, while their compatriots Ava and Attus Tiazen were lost.
Saki 2
For six years, Saki, Tamke, and a few thousand chosen survivors lived within Itayohkon Simspace. Saki and Tamke had a brief but intense relationship, ultimately splitting and remaining close friends. Little is known about their experiences of being among the Itayohkon due to the survivors' reluctance to discuss it.
Saki 3
When an expedition from TTMA space arrived at Laclathan, they successfully petitioned for the Itayohkon to release their human prisoners. Saki, along with the few thousand other survivors of Laclathan, were transubstrated back into realspace and taken to the Oamadh star system as refugees.
Instead of joining her fellow refugees, Saki, partially blamed for the fall of Laclathan, opted to join the TTMA Imperial Army to become a Combat Exo Pilot. Unbeknownst to her, she was deciding to pursue the craft of Hylaesis.
